Description:

As part of Tunnel-2018,  Channel is an audio-based installation about my parents talking about their family story, including how their parents migrated around Hohhot City, their grandparents, and their childhood. Related to the political movement in the 50s,60s, and 70s,  they have to skip or self-censor part of their story in the recording. Some of the audio was edited because these stories are unspeakable or should not post to the public.
