Yuxin Pei is a multi-disciplinary artist, educator, and concept artist based in New York. Using a variety of mediums ranging from traditional painting to video/audio installation, her work focuses on the relationship between the individual, the collective, and history under historical and political contexts. Born and raised in Inner Mongolia, China, Yuxin moved to the US in 2016. Her current practice explores issues around cyber technology, manipulating information, and power. Yuxin holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art(MICA) in 2018 and a Bachelor of Arts from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts (XAFA). Currently, she is working as a part-time faculty for Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY).
